Raji Arasu is the Vice President of Technology for eBay Marketplaces, an engineering organization that is core to the world’s largest online marketplace. Raji’s engineering team spans three different locations worldwide with more than 300 people who develop the flagship global trading platform, services and web flows, scaling to 96 million active users who purchase millions of items across tens of thousands of categories a day. At eBay, Raji partners with the business and global product teams within eBay Marketplaces and PayPal on product strategy building next‐generation features for eBayusers. 
 
Raji is a member of the technical board within the company and actively participates in strategic technical and architecture discussions around scaling and adopting new technologies around cloud computing, open sourcing proprietary frameworks and creating world‐class developer platforms.Raji is also an executive sponsor for eBay Women in Technology, which advances the interests of technology‐focused women within the company. She actively participates in technology women organizations like WITI, WCAN etc.

Raji has 20 years of experience in software development and more than a decade of team building, team management, product strategy and delivery for consumer businesses. Raji has played technology leadership roles at some of the Silicon Valley's leading Internet companies. Prior to joining eBay, Raji led technology teams at several companies, including marchFIRST and Oracle.
